About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! The idea that you’ve visited this site and are reading this page is really touching! Thank you so much for stopping by!

My name is Nori, born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. In my home, I have a husband, five kids, and two dogs. I do the regular mom things like, make sure the kids make it to sports, make sure I cry watching their sports, make sure the kids breathe and eat, etc.  But when I’m not momming, I’m a working professional in the Human Resources field. I love to craft and planner and find new projects for my house. I am a lover of movies and books; I try to commit to one book a month and our family tries to hit the theater at least once a month, though this is getting to be a pretty spendy tradition.

WHY BLOG?

I know a lot of blogs exist, which is one reason why I was so hesitant to start my own. I mean, who would possibly want to read anything about me or my life?  I don’t know. But I do know that I have stories that I want to share, and whether people read them or not, is totally fine.

We rely on the internet so heavily;  How do you do this? Google it. How do I make this? Youtube it.  Where do I find this? Map it. Every single thing we ask ourselves, can ultimately be answered online.  You can even go into the “How do I be a better person?” “How do I raise kind children?” You may not get the answer you’re looking for, but the internet is guaranteed to pull up a resource that will point you in the right direction.

I started this blog because, maybe, at some point, this page will be resource and can help someone, even if that just means making someone smile. Whatever it is you’re looking for, I’m glad you found me and I hope I made your day a little bit better.

Everything I share is based on direct experiences. I am, truly, an open book. If you have a question, feel free to contact me!

Happy reading!

Love, Nori
